About The Impact Team
The EWB-USA Impact team is a volunteering team which works with nonprofits across San Luis Obispo County to carry on the tradition of thinking globally and acting locally. IMPACT organizes volunteering events that unite Cal Poly students and EWB-USA project teams with local nonprofits. To date, more than 2000 volunteers have contributed over 8000 hours. In addition to campus-wide volunteering events, IMPACT fosters long-term relationships by partnering each EWB-USA project team with a local nonprofit. The IMPACT team also organizes a yearly community-wide IMPACT weekend during Spring quarter.
